Advanced Urology Centers of New York (AUCNY), a Division of Integrated Medical Professionals was formed by community urologists committed to providing the highest level of medical service available. The doctors of AUCNY continue to practice in the neighborhoods they have been serving for years while affording them access to technology and services that are just not available to most medical groups. All AUCNY member physicians are board certified in their specialty and many have additional fellowship training as well. The physicians are on staff at the leading hospitals in the New York metropolitan area, are active in clinical and academic research, participate in postgraduate medical education and lecture nationally and internationally on cutting edge breakthroughs in medicine.

  • Evan R. Eisenberg, MD, FACS

    Urologist

    Dr. Evan Eisenberg is a native of Long Island and graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1996. He received his Medical Degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center at Brooklyn, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society upon graduation in 2001. In addition, he received the “Outstanding Medical Student Award” from the department of Urology. After completing one year of General Surgery internship at Long Island Jewish Medical Center he was awarded the “Top Surgical Intern of the Year” for 2001. He went on to complete his four year Urology residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in 2006. During his residency, he was involved in various research projects in areas such as Female Urology, BPH, and Interstitial Cystitis. He has presented his findings at the American Urologic Association conference and has been published in several peer reviewed journals. Dr. Eisenberg joined Bicounty Urological Associates in August 2006, and practices general urology. He is proficient in hand-assisted laparoscopy, various endourologic procedures including percutaneous stone extraction, treatments of enlarged prostate, erectile dysfunction, female incontinence, and urologic malignancies. Dr. Eisenberg is certified by the American Board of Urology.

  • Matthew P. Mené, DO, FACOS

    Urologist

    Dr. Matthew Mené, a native of Long Island, received his BS degree in Life Sciences at New York Institute of Technology in 1987 as part of a 7 year medical program. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990. He served a one year internship at Massapequa General Hospital (1990-1991), a one year of General Surgery Training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (1991-1992) and then completed a four year residency in Urologic Surgery at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996. During that time he earned a Master’s of Science in Urology for his work on Microwave Thermotherapy in the Treatment of Chronic Non-Bacterial Prostatitis. Dr. Mené has received several awards including, The Meade Johnson Research Grant, The Burroughs Welcome Research Award, The Golden Quill Award and The Merck and Co. Resident Achievement Award. Half of his clinical time was spent at Albert Einstein Medical Center, a level one trauma center, where he received extensive training in urological trauma during his residency. He has been published several times in the urologic literature. In 1998, Dr. Mené became board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery, and became a fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons in 1999. He was an oral examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery since 2002. On a national level, Dr. Mené has been politically active, serving as an Associate Board Member on the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery 2004-2006 and as President of the Urologic Division of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons 2004-2005. At the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Mené is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Urology. Currently, he is in private practice with Integrated Medical Professionals. Dr. Matthew Mené is married and has two children. Recreationally, he enjoys the martial arts, where he is a Second Degree Black Belt in Hakkoryu Jiu-Jitsu and a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
